Look but Don't Touch Santa

We had the best Christmas this year! Bryce loved everything about it...the lights, the snowmen, reindeer, christmas trees, and even Santa but when it came to sitting in his lap, he gave Santa a big "No Thanks!"

Santa came to see Bryce and all of his sweet friends at our house the Wednesday before Christmas. The picture above speaks for itself:)

We always have Christmas Eve at our house with my entire family, Christmas morning we open gifts just a little family, Christmas breakfast at Jon's grandmothers, and then Christmas night at his parents. Jon's aunt and uncle come in every Christmas and it's great getting to spend time with them and watching them enjoy Bryce. Needless to say, we had a blast and were exhausted after all was said and done. The cutest thing Bryce did this year was help hand out presents to everyone. He loved it and occasionally would stop to tear into one that was his or help mommy and daddy with one of theirs.

Santa brought him everything you could possibly imagine but the big thing was a train table. Santa and Mrs. Claus stayed up until 1am Christmas Eve putting it together but it was worth every minute.

He also got lots of pirate toys...and that is the theme for his 2nd birthday party which is less than a month away!! Here's a sneak peak picture....Can't wait!

Couldn't resist a few more Cmas action shots!

SEC Championship Weekend

Jon and I headed over to Atlanta this weekend for the big SEC Championship! We had a blast. This was my first ever championship game to attend and boy, was it a good one!! When we arrived Friday, we went out for a little shopping and had an amazing dinner at Maggianos. Saturday, we headed downtown early with friends Cary and Anna Burnley. We loved the Fan Fare and all of the pre-game hype. Well, and you all know the outcome of the game! ROLL TIDE! Can't wait to see them roll on January 7th.

Thanksgiving 2012

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! It's always good to enjoy family time and get a few extra snuggles in with our little man! The best part of Thanksgiving this year was watching Bryce in his Thanksgiving program at Early Arts! Bryce's class had been preparing to sing "If You're Happy and You Know It" and we had been working at home with him! As soon as the song started, he pulled his pants and diaper down and mooned everyone for a split second. It was hilarious. He also enjoyed helping the older kids go on a bear hunt. During that, he pulled up his shirt and helped run from the bear! We have a little stinker on our hands! We have so much for which to be thankful. Enjoy the pics!

Our Little Land Shark

I'm a little behind but we had a great Halloween this year! Bryce had an absolute blast this year since he was a little older and able to enjoy all the festivities. We got Bryce's Halloween costume back in August when we were at the beach. Our little land shark enjoyed his party at Early Arts, the Shoals playdate party, trick or treating, and handing out candy to his own trick or treaters. We went to a few houses around our neighborhood with some friends on Halloween night and then came back home for chili with the grandparents. Cousin Catherine was able to stop by for a moment too! She was the sweetest Little Red Riding Hood I've ever seen. Enjoy the pics!

Beach Babes

Yep, I headed south to the beach this past weekend for the third time this year. This time, it was a girls trip to celebrate one of my best friends getting married in a couple of weeks. It was a blast! Ashley and her crew are super healthy eaters and do lots of yoga and working out so it was a blast getting to join in. When you have babies, lets face it, its just hard sometimes to eat right. They make it look like a breeze. A few of the girls actually brought their babies, yes I said babies, on the trip. They were so precious and were all little angels the entire time. After a long day relaxing in the sun Saturday, we headed over to Pensacola for dinner at The Global Grill. Yummy Tapas and lots of laughs, so much fun!! Happy Wedding Countdown Ashley! I am so excited to share in this special occasion with you:)

Chattanooga Choo Choo

Choo Choo! We headed to Chattanooga this weekend for a mini vacation! Jon and I went a few years ago pre-baby and had an absolute blast! This trip with Bryce was no exception. We started the weekend with a trip to the aquarium and a yummy dinner at a local pizza place, Lupi's! We stayed at the new Springhill Suites by Marriott right on the harbor. It was close to everything so we actually just walked to the aquarium the first night which was nice. On Saturday, we headed up the mountain to Rock City. The fall colors and all the pumpkins and mums were gorgeous so we took lots of pictures. Bryce thought it was funny going through the Fat Man Squeeze and really enjoyed the white deer we got to see at one of the lookouts. Next, we had another yummy meal at Sticky Fingers and headed over to the Creative Discovery Museum. What a great children's museum. Bryce enjoyed the splash pool, sliding down the "big" slide, playing in the kitchen, and digging for dinosaur fossils. To say he had a blast would be an understatement. After a quick nap and some Alabama football, we headed out to see the Choo Choo train at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. He immediately started pointing and doing his train motion. We bought a toy train in one of the souvenir shops and he played with it the whole time we were there. We ended our fun filled weekend with another yummy meal at Mellow Mushroom for pizza again! It was such a fun weekend and we will definitely go back again! Enjoy the pics:)

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend, we headed over to Leighton to try out the new Isbell's Pumpkin Patch. Bryce had an absolute blast sliding, petting and feeding the animals, playing in the corn crawl, and picking out the perfect pumpkin. Mommy and Daddy had a great time too. It was chilly outside so we had to break out Bryce's winter coat for the occasion. Happy Halloween everyone!
