Hole in One

Bryce got a hole in one. Not your typical hole in one, but nevertheless, it's true. Jon's surround sound speakers have one speaker that sits on the floor that is for the bass. It has a large hole on the bottom.....just the perfect size for a ball to fit in......and stay! It is not budging so we just gave up and left it! LOL Enjoy the pics. Jon and I have agreed that this is just the first of many dilemmas such as this.......

Bryce's papa also got a hole in one this summer....but it was a real one! Congrats Papa!

Coast to Coast Fun

Ok people, so the title is Coast to Coast fun but one of those weeks was training in San Fran which really was fun but hard work. June 9-16, we were on Destin, Florida vacationing with family. Besides having to do a little bit of home study for my new job, we had a relaxing, fun-filled week. We swam, played on the beach (Bryce loved it), shopped, ate lots of seafood, went to the zoo, rode on 3 trains, and went on a sunset dolphin cruise! Despite all the fun, we are glad to be back home. Enjoy the pics!

Great News from Dr. Israel

Bryce, my mom, and I headed to Huntsville yesterday to see Bryce's pediatric cardiologist, Dr. Israel! We got great results!! After taking a look during the echo, he informed us that the narrowing in Bryce's pulmonary artery was fine and that he will just continue to watch it. Although there is a small chance he may have to have another open heart to repair this artery, it is not a given and how it stands now, he can live a long, healthy life and be fine. We also discussed physical activity as he grows and gets more active. He is not going to be limited in the least bit! The only sport that Dr. Israel is not really keen on is football, but many of his patients born with transposition are playing and are doing just fine. The fact that he doesn't recommend it is totally fine with us. I was never huge on the idea of Bryce getting knocked around anyway;) He is such a joy and we are so very thankful for this amazing blessing. Next cardiology appointment.....JUNE 2013! Woo Hoo!! Thanks for reading:)

New Job...More Time with my Little Man!!

Blessed! Simply put....this is how I feel! I have been quite busy the past two weeks being a mommy to my extremely active toddler, entertaining family and friends for Memorial Day, and interviewing for a position that I am thrilled to announce that I have now been offered and have accepted! I will now be working Flex Time (part-time) as a pharmaceutical sales representative with InVentiv Health. I will be a part of the Depomed project selling the one and only QD tablet for after shingles pain...Gralise! From what I have been told by my manager, it is doing extremely well and I cannot wait to get started. On a side note, we are headed to the beach this Saturday and will be there the entire week! The only down side is that I will have to do home study while there....there is no way around it. We will get back home the next Saturday, I will be home one day, and then I will fly out to San Fran for 4 days of training! Although I am apprehensive about leaving the "little" love of my life (and the Big one too of course;), I am excited about this new chapter of my life! The fact that I will be part-time has not sunk in yet! I plan on doing lots of fun things with Bryce, one of which will be taking him to story time at the library! My baby boy LOVES books and mommy does too! I am so thankful that I have been blessed with this opportunity to which I had given much thought and prayer! Thanks for reading!
