Bryce has started to stand on his own lately. He seems to do better with no one watching. He is getting so independent and has started doing so many new things. Two funny things that he does these days are show his teeth and make the "I dunno" gesture. It is so stinking cute. We are expecting him to take his first steps any day now. Last weekend, we celebrated his precious life at the 2012 Heart Ball where he was honored along with 4 other individuals, one of which was Miss Greer Underwood. Greer underwent a heart transplant last Mother's day and is doing great. You can probably find some info about her and her case by googling her name. It was a circus theme which I thought was extremely fitting for our little sir because children usually love the circus. He even got to be there for a short time to be honored and he wore a circus themed outfit from Castles and Crowns I found on a great sale during the Christmas season. Other than these things, we have just been busy enjoying each and every day with him. We did have to make a trip to Children's in Birmingham for his circumcision this week and he is doing fabulous. It was not nearly as bad as what I had expected. To explain a bit, Bryce was not able to be circumcised after birth because all of the other he had going on. When a baby boy is greater than one month old (we were 4 days too late when we went to our first regular well child check-up), you have to wait until after they are one year old to get them circumcised because the risk of bleeding goes up. Besides being uncomfortable during diaper changes, he is just happy go lucky as always. Thanks for reading and enjoy the pics!
